The Bataan Police capped its 27th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month celebration in a ceremony held at Camp Tolentino with Gov. Joet Garcia as main guest on Thursday.
For the whole month of July, under the leadership of Police Provincial Director Col. Rommel Velasco, the Bataan police conducted various community works in many parts of the province that included outreach program, feeding program, and tree-planting.
Velasco also invited Aetas to hold market days inside Camp Tolentino to see their harvests and other raw products they gathered from mountain and rivers.
Garcia thanked Bataan police for their job of maintaining peace and order in the province. He commended Velasco for leading Bataan PNP in conducting a fruitful community month celebration.
The awards earlier achieved by Bataan police from Region 3 Police 27th (PCR) month celebration were also recognized in the ceremony that included the coveted Outstanding Provincial Police Award for Bataan PNP. Other awards are Bataan First Provincial Mobile Force, Outstanding Provincial Mobile Force Company, and Hermosa Police Station, Outstanding Police Station. Force multipliers and volunteers who helped Bataan police were also awarded certificates.
After the ceremony, Garcia as well as Velasco did not miss the chance to buy products to the delight of Aeta vendors inside Camp Tolentino.
